August 2019 When Emil (4) started wondering, where Germany is on the world map, we found the answer quickly. But then he came to think; what are all the other places we see on the map? Emil was able to name almost all the continents, so we labeled them.
During that conversation many children joined us and started talking about all the countries our teachers and families come from. We started counting… and we counted… and counted… and by the end, the number we got surprised us all: 33!
In our Kita we have 33 different nationalities. WOW! This number makes us very proud. It is exciting to experience diversity as something completely ordinary and still having all the assets of a versatile community.
